Nourishment 

 

Nourishment is central to our wellbeing on all levels, but we most commonly think of it in terms of food. (Source: click here ). How do our eating habits affect our health? Do some research on the Internet and write your opinion.

STUDENT 1:

Food gives our bodies the energy we need to function. For many people, changing eating habits is very hard. We may have had certain eating habits for so long that we don't realize they are unhealthy. Or our habits have become part of our daily life so much, that become almost impossible to think about them.

STUDENT 2:

Our body need a lot of nutrients, proteins and carbohydrates to keep moving everyday, and if we do not choose the right things to eat and only eat fat, fried food, soda or any kind of fastfood instead a health food as vegetables and salads, we are going to get in throuble.
And it is also important, not only eat natural food but know the time to eat,eat more often than usual. Take a look on the image below, and you are going to see that people who eat their breakfast may prevent low blood sugar levels between meals.

The kind of diet we have influences 100% in the way we live, because the food we eat gives our bodies the "information" and materials they need to function properly. If you do not have a healthy diet, your body eventually will show some negative responses to that. It is important to have fruits, vegetables and organic foods in our diet to prevent diseases and to improve our wellbeing. Not having contact with healthy foods can make your mood, memory and sleep look very bad and sometimes we are used to it for a long time, so we barely notice that the problem is in the way we do not take care about what we eat everyday.

The body can have some kinds of diets and each diet influence in the way we live, then is very important to know what your body need to be strong we have fruits, vegetables, plants and also oil vegetable that are very rich in vitamins and fibers this heathy foods became nutrients that the body need to the best development and keep heathy, if you not eat a good foods your body can have some problems how  for example problems with bones development, anemia or problems with sleep .It is very important drink a lot of water and eat grans always.

The history of humankind is attached to food. There was a brief moment when the Homo Sapiens stared up at the sky and thought "Darn! We need more food... I have an idea! Let's crop and get some cattle." That was the time in which we, humans, started to change our manners. We cannot disassociate to food. Our existence depends of subsistence. (Wow! That's waaaaaay too Philosophical). Our meal prevents us from diseases, for example. Everything we do depends on the synaptic transmissions. And they use a bunch of chemical components. And where do we find them? FOOD! This century, governments (and the people in general) are fighting against obesity. In Brazil, around 18.3% of people have this condition. And 54% deal with overweight (which is one step closer to the "obesity" category). Anyways. It's a concern? Definitely! But, common! Just eat what you want! Although, you have to moderate sometimes... A cheeseburguer won't kill you! (Only if you choke with the meat). Practice sports! Eat fruits and vegetables! Drink a lot of water! And then eat your delicious Happy Meal. Don't forget to be happy.

A healthy diet can make a big  difference in our lives. As food provides our body all necessary nutients and vitamins to keep moving. Eating habits have great influence in all aspects of people´s life.

According to many resarches, a healthy diet keeps your body fitness, nutrite, hydrated,besides help with your sleep, mood, willing, memory, concentration and so on...

A healthy diet should include vegetables, salads, fruits,oils, protein and grains.

Having good eating habits brings you only good results in several areas.

It's common to hear people kidding if men live to eat, or eat to live. Human kind use to eat, at least, three times a day, and every meal has to have 5 or 6 different "tipes" of food. Our lives are relationed as how we eat and what. Food change our emotions, can free us from disease or give us one. A friend of mine used to say "tell me what you eat, and I'll say who you are". Some cultures have an important relation to food, actually to the "table-moment" where family get together for their meals.

Health goes on related to our diet. Now, more than ever, we have the chance of eating any tipe of food, with different nutrients, colors, proteins... We just have to focus on it, look for nourishment's profissionals and listen to their advices, such as decrease sugar, increase fruit and vegetables, and avoid soda as possible. Take care of our diet is to take care of ourselves.

A healthy diet must be diversified. Must include carbohydrates, fats, proteins, fibers, vitamins, mineral salts and water, in the quantity suitable for our body. If we ingest more than our body needs we will have problems and if we ingest less than our body needs we also will have problems. 

Associated with physical activities, a healthy diet helps us to have a good life, because makes our body function properly and prevents diseases like cancer, heart diseases, obesity, diabetes and other chronic diseases such as hypertension and dyslipidemia.

According to the medical resources, we need to eat at least 3 times per day but is not enough actually we need eat each 3 hours, many of them don't do that and the consequence of it is Malnutrition.

Food provides to us energy that keeps us alive and without it our bodies can collapse . Ask for anyone what he or she prefers to eat? Chocolate or An apple? , they will probably choose the first option. Chocolate is high in sugar and increase risk of diabetes, overweight, kidney disease, etc. Instead of eat that , eating an apple will be good to weight loss, bones, heart, etc. You should eat an apple next time!

Living a health life means to do exercises and eating health foods. They really match! Think twice before order a junk food.

Mind, body and food are related to how humankind evolved. For this reason, nourishment has an important impact on our lives. All what we eat shows who we are and how we are living. People become less concerned about their nourish habits, because our lifestyle is fast and disoriented.

Based on this, people should look for a new way of nourishment. Eating more fruits and vegetables, less fatty, salty and sugary foods will be the beginning of that "new" manner of taking care of body and mind.

The humanity is passing through a moment where there are lots of different types of food to be consumed. And this possibility also brings many risks to health. It is fundametal to understand what we are eating and the benefits to our lives. The access to information is an important tool to help us understand what are the best options. The danger comes when we are conscious about the bad things referring to the food and even so we indigest it. Food habits can be changed at any time, it dependes exclusively on the person's goals. There are delicious healthy food that can substitute junk food and bring to the person more energy to have a better routine. Everybody knows that if we eat better, we live better, and that is only a matter of choice.

Food is the fuel for our life as it provides us with subsidies for the accomplishment of our daily tasks. If we do not feed, we do not have the strength or disposition to perform the most banal activities, and seriously compromise the performance of vital functions in our organism.

Of course, the quality of the food ingested is fundamental. It's no use merely to eat. It is necessary to feed properly, providing the body with the necessary nutrients for its perfect functioning.

The human body need a lot of food to keep going through the days, and if we don't eat right, like vegetables, fruits and healthy food, and drink water our system will get in trouble. We can't just eat fat and unhealthy food and drink soda as if there's no tomorrow.

And it is really important to have the meals in a schedule, eating less quantity and more often in the day. The food isn't the only thing you have to pay attention to, you have to exercise, sleep well and drink water too, so your body gets healthy and happy.

Basically our diet influences in more than 70% of our health. It does not mean we can't eat fast food and things like that, just means we have to be careful, do a lot of exercises and go to the doctor see if everyting is okay regularly.
